Which CAD files?
CADopener supports over 45 different file formats. It is a universal
solution that works with 2D & 3D files from: Pro/EngineerTM,
AutoCADTM, SolidWorksTM, CatiaTM, UnigraphicsTM, SDRCTM, &
virtually all others.
The Charts below show you all the file types that CADopener supports
based upon the CAD system that created the files.
Tips
- You can only send one file at a time.
- Do not ZIP your files.
- File types in Bold below signify preferred file formats: These are easier to generate by the sender and they allow access to the most information possible.

- Start with the CAD system that created the file.
- Select the type of data. Is it a Part, an Assembly or a Drawing?
- Read which Industry Standard or Native file formats CADopener supports.
