The CADopener system allows a User to send a secure CAD file (with RFQ) to a list of recipients. The CADopener system compresses and
converts the file into a format that is quickly downloaded and immediately functional for all recipients. The recipients do not need to own or be
able to operate any CAD software, yet they can easily interrogate and use the delivered file for quoting or collaborating purposes.
What does the Sender do?
- The CAD file Sender signs-up on-line for a CADopener account.
- He then logs-into this secure account.
- He schedules a CAD file delivery by:
Selecting recipients by email address.
Inputting the RFQ details.
Selecting the File to be delivered.
- He Clicks the Start Sending button.
It's quite easy to use and the total process only takes a few moments.
What does CADopener do?
- CADopener receives the CAD file and verifies its file type.
- Patent-pending technology compresses and converts the file into a format that is quick to download and is usable anywhere with our CADopener Viewersm.
- CADopener privately informs each recipient of the availability of the senders RFQ & CAD file and provides a secure access point for each recipient to use.
What does the Recipient do?
- The Recipient logs-into the secure access point.
- He downloads and installs the CADopener Viewersm (only once per computer).
- He clicks to receive the smaller delivery file and it is immediately popped open for use by the CADopener Viewersm.
The recipient can now quite easily view, measure and interrogate the CAD file without using any CAD software. Quality time can now be spent
quoting and collaborating instead of on file manipulation and access.
